In the shallows there was a ship, the main deck of which was dipped obliquely in the sea.
By the light of an old oil lamp, Jack and Barbossa were silently staring at the wreck.
Will asked them: "That's the 'Flying Dutchman'? It doesn't look like much."
"You don't look like much either," Jack snapped. "Don't underestimate her."
Jack turned to Will again, "What are your plans?"
"I'll paddle out and search the boat until I find your goddamn key," Will retorted.
"What if you meet the crew?" Jack tentatively asked Will.
"I am whoever stands in my way."
Jack smiled: "I like your answer, it's simple and easy to remember."
Will nodded, his eyes shifting to the piece of cloth that Jack was clutching tightly in his hand.
He said, "I'll bring you the key, and you must help me get that compass back."
"Yes, in case you get caught, say Jack Sparrow sent me to pay his debts," ordered Jack, and then he added:
"It might save your life."

Chapter 253 A 100-year trial!
"Yes, in case you get caught, say Jack Sparrow sent me to pay his debts," ordered Jack, and then he added:
"It might save your life."
Will nodded as farewell, and then turned over the side of the ship and boarded a small boat that had been waiting for him.
Jack watched silently as Will rowed back to the wrecked boat, then he ordered his men to turn off the lights, and Barbossa nodded in acquiescence.
The lights on the Black Pearl went out one by one, and it was as black as the black sails on the ship.
Almost invisible except for the smile of Jack Sparrow with one gold tooth.
......
Will went to the main deck of the wreck and lit a lamp of his own.
The ship appears to have been abandoned, with the dead bodies of sailors strewn across the deck.
Seeing the chaos around him, Will felt his legs go weak. What kind of situation did he put himself in?
Suddenly, a pulley creaked.
Will looked back to see a wounded sailor feebly trying to hoist a sail.
"The captain ordered that the inner jib sail be hoisted, the cable circle around, and stop the ship quickly." The man murmured.
"It's no use, man," Will said. "You're stranded."
But the exhausted guy is still trying.
"No, just below us, putrid breath, billy and Quentin, the captain's order!"
A high wave suddenly rocked the ship and a dead sailor fell from the rigging.
Will jumped back as the body hit the deck, and on the sailor's back Will could see a circular suction mark.
He turned the body over and the man's face was gone, completely sucked away.
sea monster!Barbossa's description of the sea monster flashed through Will's mind.
Will quickly avoided the body, looked over the side of the ship in horror, but could see nothing but the dark, churning sea.
An eerie calm suddenly fell over the sea.
Then, almost in an instant, the wind escalated into a storm, the water churned white, and a ship of formidable power rose out of the foam like a whale breaking through the surface.
"The Flying Dutchman!"
Will was tricked, and in order to lure out the real Flying Dutchman, Jack sent Will on a broken ship.
And now, the ship and its captain, Davy Jones, are really here.
It wasn't like any boat Will had ever seen before, this one was made of pale wood and bone, completely covered in the stuff of the sea - coral, shells and seaweed.
The hull falls into the sea, causing splashes and a winged female skeleton at the bow.
Will hides behind a cannon on the wreck, but it doesn't do him any good.
From the darkness came the Dutchman's crew, hideous and hideous, some scaled, some covered with barnacles.
Will came out of cover with his longsword drawn and ran towards the boat, but the Flying Dutchman's first mate, a guy named Max with a coral crust on his face, stopped him.
The rest of the crew quickly joined Max and surrounded Will.
"Kneel down and beg for mercy!" Green Beard Posang yelled through the seaweed covering his face.
For a moment, Will is petrified by the appearance of Jones' men.
But as soon as he came to his senses he plunged his sword into a vat of whale oil, and then slammed it into his lantern.
The sword immediately burst into flames, and he swung the sword and burned the wet bodies of the crew.
Will turned to attack the crew behind him when a pulley hit him in the face, knocking him unconscious.
Will, who suddenly lost his defense ability, can only be dealt with by the crew of the Flying Dutchman.
......
When Will wakes up, he's still on the wrecked ship.
He became one of a line of sailors, all kneeling, and he was last in line.
He looked away, and he saw a man striding up to the deck.
That was Davy Jones himself, and the terrible descriptions of him were not false.
